Dr Elena Nikiphorou is a consultant rheumatologist at King’s College Hospital, London, UK, and an adjunct senior lecturer at King’s College London, UK.
Dr Nikiphorou has a clinical and academic interest in inflammatory arthritis, multi-morbidity and long-term outcomes of disease. She has been the recipient of multiple national and international awards, bursaries and competitive roles. She has been involved in the development of several international recommendations, including on the management of difficult-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis and self-management strategies in inflammatory arthritis.
